For this edition of the Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society (CCAS)-Congenital Heart Professionals (CHiP) Network's Journal Watch, we scanned peer-reviewed articles published between October 2020 and January 2021. The prominent journals reviewed were:

Anesthesia and Analgesia

Three articles were chosen that were of mutual interest to both anesthesiologists and intensivists. Volunteers from both subspecialties have evaluated the selected publications and provided us with a review of the implications of these articles to our current practice and future directions.
